The Gateway Corridor (Gold Line BRT) is a proposed bus rapid transit line that would run next to Interstate 94 between downtown Saint Paul and Woodbury. It would provide all-day, bi-directional transit service with stops at multiple stations, and include connections to the growing regional transit system. Depending upon federal and local funding, the Gateway Corridor could be operational by 2023.
The City of Woodbury is a member of the Gateway Corridor Commission, a group of local elected officials, businesses and Chambers of Commerce, formed in 2009 to develop a long-term vision and advocate for future transit services in the east metro area.
