Community Garden

Gardener in community gardenGrow your own vegetables and flowers while cultivating camaraderie with friends and neighbors in our community garden!

The Community Garden will provide Woodbury residents with an opportunity for positive social interaction and healthy eating habits. Studies have shown that gardening can improve mental well-being by reducing stress, improving cognitive abilities, providing a source of physical activity, creating a sense of pride and accomplishment, and providing opportunities for skills development.

This pilot project, which kicked off in 2022, is a partnership between the City of Woodbury and Woodbury Thrives. Locally-based civic groups and Woodbury residents are invited to participate in the community garden.

The garden will be located near Andy’s Bark Park, 1664 Dale Road, just east of Woodbury Drive. Parking will be available on site. Daily hours are from 6 a.m.-10 p.m.

Registration for summer 2023 garden plots will open Wednesday, Nov. 30, to Woodbury residents and Woodbury-based organizations. Interested participants can register online. Plots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 651-714-3583.
