Grow your own vegetables and flowers while cultivating camaraderie with friends and neighbors in our community garden!
The Community Garden will provide Woodbury residents with an opportunity for positive social interaction and healthy eating habits. Studies have shown that gardening can improve mental well-being by reducing stress, improving cognitive abilities, providing a source of physical activity, creating a sense of pride and accomplishment, and providing opportunities for skills development.
In 2022, the City of Woodbury, in partnership with Woodbury Thrives, began providing community garden plots on park property for use by locally-based civic groups and residents. For the 2024 growing season, we will have 48, 9' x 14' plots available on a first come, first served basis.
The Community Garden is adjacent to Andy’s Bark Park, 11664 Dale Road, just east of Woodbury Drive, with parking available on site. Daily hours are from 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
The 2024 Community Garden plot registration begins on Wednesday, Nov. 29, to Woodbury residents and Woodbury-based organizations. Interested participants can registeronline. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 651-714-3583.
