Overview
Woodbury residents can make a big difference in our community by investing time and talent into the city's parks and open spaces. Park clean-ups are open to community groups, civic groups, churches, neighborhoods, and individual citizens. You may choose a park site on a first-come, first-served basis.
The overall goal of park clean-up is to provide a fun, meaningful opportunity for volunteers to show their civic pride while maximizing city resources and keeping the parks as beautiful and safe as possible. All participation is done on a voluntary basis and any and all activities are done at your own risk. For safety reasons, outings and activities are recommended to take place during daylight hours.
Items that can be provided by the Parks Department during your park clean-up are:
- Trash bags
- Mulch for around trees (Mulching is done on a limited basis. Volunteers should provide their own shovels and rakes.)
Trash bags can be picked up at Public Works. Mulch will be delivered to the approved site. If you are interested in doing a park clean-up, please notify us at least two weeks (10 business days) in advance to ensure that items can be arranged for your gathering.
Residents interested in organizing a clean-up event at any of our parks can fill out the form below. All participation is done on a voluntary basis and any and all activities are done at your own risk. For safety reasons, outings and activities are recommended to take place during daylight hours.
