Park Shelter or Building Reservations
Looking for a place to hold a graduation party, family reunion, business meeting or celebration in 2023? Woodbury’s outdoor park shelters are available for rental in the warmer months and building spaces are available to rent year-round.
The City of Woodbury also offers many different locations and spaces suitable for groups of all sizes at Central Park, Eagle Valley Golf Course, Ojibway Park and M Health Fairview Sports Center.
Starting January 18, 2023 you can reserve a Park Shelter or Building Reservation Online
Please note: Full payment and damage deposits will be required at the time of reservation. Any changes and cancellations will be subject to cancellation policies printed on each receipt. Many of the city-owned facility and spaces available for rent to the public are still accessible by the public, unless the event you are holding is private and the general public is not invited to the event. For use of city-owned facilities and spaces for events that are not private in nature, even if admittance to the event is charged, any individual of the public may be present at the location, without paying or without invite, and engage in noncommercial speech or demonstrations as long as their activities or speech does not block or impede the flow of pedestrian or vehicular traffic, does not impede with the permitted use to the point that the permitted use cannot happen nor takes place in or upon the traveled portion of any city street or public parking lot.

A reservation refund, along with the full damage deposit, will be given if a reservation is canceled forty-five (45) days or more in advance of the date of the rental use. A 15 percent (15%) administrative processing fee will be charged. No reservation refund will be given if a reservation is canceled less than forty-five (45) days in advance of the date of the rental use. (The full damage deposit will be refunded.) Refunds are not given due to weather conditions unless the park or facilities are officially closed by the city due to severe, life-threatening weather.
A refundable damage deposit is required for each facility rental. It is the user's responsibility to ensure the facility is left in good condition after use. The damage deposit will be refunded, following approval of the condition of the rental facility by staff, to the credit card used, to make the original reservation, or via check if payment was made by check or cash, within two weeks of the facility rental use.
Anyone reserving a city facility for a Special Event (fundraiser, exhibition, race/walk, tournament, bike ride, large events, etc.) must adhere to the special event policy guidelines and submit a Special Event Application.
Vendors participating in an event to sell food/merchandise or provide services to participants for a fee, as part of a special event or tournament held upon City of Woodbury property, are required to have a vendor permit.
Permits are required for the exclusive use of outdoor athletic fields. To check the availability of a specific outdoor athletic field for exclusive use contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 651-714-3583. Reservations are accepted, with full payment of the applicable rental fee, applicable state sales tax, and damage deposit, the first business day in January for the following year, or at least two weeks in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage.

Tennis, volleyball, basketball, and horseshoe courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, except when officially reserved for lessons or league programs.
Permits are required for commercial use/rental of outdoor athletic fields. To check the availability of a specific outdoor athletic field for exclusive use contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 651-714-3583. Reservations are accepted, with full payment of the applicable rental fee, applicable state sales tax, and damage deposit, the first business day in January for the following year, or at least two weeks in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage.
