Say 'Goodbye' to Original Lookout Ridge Playground

Play Area

The indoor playground at Lookout Ridge is being replaced as part of the Central Park Renovation Project starting in 2024 with anticipated completion in mid-2025. The new playground will feature a diverse assortment of 60-80 play features geared toward children ages 12 and under.

The playground will be open through normal business hours on Thursday, Feb. 29. Beginning March 1, the playground will be closed to prepare for construction activities.

Say 'Goodbye' to Original Lookout Ridge Playground

As the city prepares to begin the Central Park Renovation Project, it is welcoming the public to say “goodbye” to the old indoor playground at Lookout Ridge! Join us at one of two special events to bid the playground equipment farewell before it closes for construction on Feb. 29.

  • Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Thursday, Feb. 29, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Stop by and play at these FREE events while enjoying fruit snacks. Plus, write your “goodbye” to the playground and snap a pic at a neat photo opportunity. Please note that entry to the playground may be delayed or limited if the attendance exceeds the playground occupancy limit (200 persons).
