Tamarack Trunk Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project
Based on routine inspections, numerous sanitary sewer structures and pipes have been identified as requiring maintenance and repair at this time. This project will include rehabilitation of the 1970 Tamarack Trunk Sanitary Sewer infrastructure.
The sewer is approximately 40 years old and is showing signs of corrosion and cracking inside the pipe. Repairs will extend the life of the sewer for several more decades, as well as prevent groundwater and stormwater from leaking into the sewer.
The work is scheduled to begin February 2018 and will be conducted in several phases through May 2018. Minor restoration work will be performed in the spring of 2018.
A public informational meeting was held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 at Woodbury City Hall in the Birch Conference Room. Additionally, a project update was mailed to the project areas on Wednesday, February 7.
As shown on the attached map, the project location is generally in the northwest and central area of the City.
