Effective in 2010, the City of Woodbury became a direct recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds via the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
HUD funds are governed by an Annual Action Plan (AAP) with a July-to-June program year that identifies the specific projects in which the city is investing its allocation of CDBG and HOME funds.
While the adopted 2020 AAP is attached to the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and can be accessed via https://www.woodburymn.gov/departments/planning/consolidated_plan.php, additional surplus CDBG funds that were created by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) known as CDBG-CV-3 were allocated to the City of Woodbury on September 11, 2020 and are required to be attached to the 2019 AAP.
As such, a draft amendment to the 2019 AAP can be seen below. A public comment period is in effect until November 9, 2020 and a public hearing has been scheduled to review the draft amendment on November 10, 2020.
