The Economic Development Authority (EDA) is a separate legal authority under state law that studies and analyzes economic development financing matters for the City of Woodbury. The EDA has access to financial resources to assist businesses to create new jobs, increase the local tax base and improve the economic vitality of Woodbury. These resources include tax increment financing and tax abatement to qualified projects.
The City Council serves as the EDA. Meetings are cablecast on Channel 16 and are also rebroadcast throughout the week. Check the Woodbury Bulletin or call the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission at 651-458-9241 for rebroadcast dates and times. Live and archived EDA meetings can be viewed on the city's YouTube channel.
